How Do I Register?
You can register online, the Registration link is on the drop down menu under Fall 2017. Payment is by check, please make your check out to Heart of Texas Bead Retreat and mail to: 1911 Gaylord Drive, Austin, Texas 78728. Please contact Sally Custer at firstname.lastname@example.org for payment questions/information. A portion of your payment is non-refundable – for full details see Cancellation Policy at the bottom of this page.
How Do I Register with a Deposit Payment?
Complete the online registration form and SUBMIT. This will take you to a second page to preview your completed information. Once you have confirmed the information is correct, click CONFIRMED. This brings up a screen with the mailing address to send your deposit payment by check. Please make your check out to Heart of Texas Bead Retreat and mail to: 1911 Gaylord Drive, Austin, Texas 78728. A portion of your payment is non-refundable – for full details see Cancellation Policy at the bottom of this page.

Failure to process Final Payment by due date will result in forfeiture of deposit and your reservation will be cancelled. While it is appreciated that this is two months prior to the event, this allows Heart of Texas Bead Retreat to fulfill its contractual obligations with instructors, vendors, and venue without incurring additional costs which ultimately allows Heart of Texas Bead Retreat to keep registration as low as possible. What do I need to bring?
Each instructor will have kits available for purchase, unless otherwise noted on the Workshop page. Materials lists for classes will be sent to all confirmed attendees. You should bring tools and supplies as required in each Class Description. Feel free to bring your task lighting, favorite bead board, usual beading supplies, etc. Heart of Texas will provide power strips should you need one. Don’t forget your beading glasses or magnifier!
Will there be shopping at the Retreat?
In addition to the exclusive Trunk Shows, we will have an onsite Bead Marketplace with Sea of Beads.
For area shopping, there is a Premium Outlet Mall less than 2 miles north on IH 35, as well as La Frontera Shopping Center which is less than 2 miles south of the Wingate.
Will there be breaks?
Please feel free to take a break and move around whenever you need to; there will be a 15 minute break at 3:00 p.m. All day beverages will be served in the Community Beading Room, with a snack served at mid-afternoon break.
Will there be a place to visit and bead after hours?
The Beading Room will open at 7:00 a.m. and throughout the day – After class hours it will remain open until 11:00 p.m. and you are welcome to join friends, visit and bead.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
Less than 30 days prior to the event, no refund is given.
31 to 60 days prior to the event, 50% refund is given, less $50 non-refundable registration fee and $50 cancellation fee.
More than 61 days prior to the event, full refund is given, less $50 non-refundable registration fee and $50 cancellation fee.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: Heart of Texas Bead Retreat reserves the right to cancel this Retreat if the minimum number of students are not registered within 31 days prior to the event and will then return all money paid at that time to registered participants less credit card/Paypal process fees, if applicable, not to exceed $15 per registrant. Any change made to the event by Heart of Texas Bead Retreat 61 or more days prior to event [location, date, instructors, schedule], the full extent of liability is limited to the total amount paid for registration or deposit towards registration per registrant, less credit card processing fee, if applicable.
By registering for this retreat, you are agreeing to the cancellation policy as stated on the FAQ page in detail and to the following: The Heart of Texas Bead Retreat will make every effort to provide you with an educational, fun, and inspirational experience. By participating in this event, you agree to hold The Heart of Texas Bead Retreat harmless in any way for any claim for injury, loss or damage to you or any person accompanying you. You also give consent to The Heart of Texas Bead Retreat to use photos taken of you during the retreat as publicity for future retreats and promotional materials.
